We were commissioned by our client, a large construction and site management company, to review the security at the site of a prestige, high rise and complex new build in East London. Incidents were frequently occurring involving; criminal trespass, anti-social behaviour, public order offences, harassment of residents, theft, drug dealing and damage to cars.
The site, situated on the River Thames, consisted of private grounds with a public right of way, luxury flats and apartments, a secure car park, resident international hotel, shops, a rail station and social housing.

- Discussions with the resident hotel security team

- Interviews with other local organisations
Our comprehensive report was published which included several recommendations;
- Recruitment of a site security manager
- Re- training of all security staff to national standards
- Skills training and practices of CCTV operators to meet national standards
- Introduction of a local information sharing forum
- Review of Health and Safety at the sites to include egress and ingress into tall buildings
The result was the client implemented a plan to instigate all the recommendations to the full satisfaction of residents and increased the security posture to include local partners and stakeholders.
